  2. Choose the origin

We match animals from the USA, France, or both.

  3. Health & permits

We plan air, sea or ro-ro and any quarantine stops.

  5. Delivery & papers

Animals arrive with their documents in order.

Transport

Air, sea or ro-ro: choosing the right route

The best mode depends on species, group size, season and destination. Our shipping routes guide explains the main lanes.

Livestock export by air cargo for small groups and long distances

Air freight

  • Fastest option
  • Suited to small groups and long distances
  • Higher cost per animal
Livestock export by sea from a port with a live animal vessel

Sea freight

  • Suited to larger groups
  • Longer transit, planned around the season
  • Lower cost per animal
Ro-ro ferry livestock transport across the Mediterranean

Ro-ro & road

  • Short sea crossings from France
  • Direct truck-and-ferry loading
  • Common for Mediterranean routes

Paperwork, handled with you

Export paperwork is where most delays happen. We coordinate licensed vets and the right authorities, and we tell you early what your importer needs to arrange.

  • Veterinary health certificate
  • Test and vaccination records
  • Import permit from the destination authority
  • Registration and pedigree papers, where applicable
  • Export and transport declarations
  • Quarantine arrangements, where required
FAQ

Export questions, answered

What does international livestock export cost?

It depends on the species, quantity, origin, destination and transport mode. We quote each request individually, so send us the details and we will outline the costs.

Which countries can you ship to?

We work with the 14 markets listed above, from Canada and the Caribbean to North Africa, the Middle East, Turkey and Taiwan. What is possible for a given animal depends on that country's current rules.

Can I buy from both the USA and France?

Yes, where the destination's rules allow it. Tell us what you need and we will suggest the best origin or a mix.

Do you handle health testing and paperwork?

We coordinate testing, vaccination and certificates with licensed vets. Your importer usually applies for the import permit, and we tell you early what is needed.

How long does an export take?

Testing windows, quarantine and transport availability all affect timing. We give you a realistic timeline with your quote.

Is there a minimum order?

Send your quantity and destination and we will tell you what is practical for that route.
